Michael John Tierney (born 18 January 1977), usually known as Mike Tierney, is a member of Australian band Human Nature and younger brother of band member Andrew Tierney.

Mike grew up in Sydney, New South Wales with older brother Andrew and studied at Hurlstone Agricultural High School where they met Toby Allen and Phil Burton, and formed the "4Trax", and performed for the first time in 1989 at a schools combined concert singing Earth Angel. Mike is married to Andrea Tierney (née Pope) who is the younger sister of Heather Tierney (née Pope, his brother Andrew's wife).
Mike being the one who introduced Andrew to Heather. Mike has been with Andrea since they were young.
