Michael Tickner is a British-born artist resident in Canada.
Tickner exhibited at his first group show at the age of eight, and was awarded a place at the London School of Art at the age of 16. He currently produces illustrations for cards and posters as well as giclée prints. Tickner has also illustrated a number of books, mainly reprints or retellings of classic tales, for Scholastic.
Tickner moved to Canada in 1975. He lives in Lions Bay, British Columbia.
