Michael Stephenson (born 28 September 1980 in Tynemouth) is a rugby union footballer, who plays on the wing for Bath and England. 'Stevo' began his career with Newcastle Gosforth, winning two English Cups in 2001 and 2004 during five years in the Falcons' first team before moving to the Rec in the summer of 2005.

Michael's rugby career was nurtured at Durham School where he reached two national semi cup finals and played at first team level for three years in a team which has produced other internationals such as Gareth Archer (England). Michael has 3 England caps to his name himself.

At The Newcastle Falcons Michael won two cup finals against Harlequins and Sale respectively as well as playing in a European Cup semi final against Stade Francais at the parc de Princes in paris
