Michael Spence (academic)

Dr Michael J. Spence (10 January 1962) is a Australian-born academic. He has been appointed as the next Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sydney, where his academic career began. He is currently the Head of the Social Sciences Division of the University of Oxford. He is also a Consultant to the London law firm Olswang Solicitors, and a Panelist of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre.
