Michael Shelfer, (born 1981), is a professional American manga artist living in Florida.[1].

In 2005, he won the first annual ‘People’s Choice Award’ competition in the TOKYOPOP “Rising Stars Of Manga Volume 5” with entry, “Blue Phoenix: No Quarter” (art and story).[2]
In 2006, he was the artist for the story, “Oban”, written by Jim Alexander, appearing in Tokyopop’s Star Trek: the Manga Volume 1: Shinsei/Shinsei”.
As of 2007, he is the artist for Seven Seas, Inc.'s two-volume graphic novel series, “Dead Already”, written by Dwayne Smith.[3]
