[edit] Background

On The Sopranos, Mikey Palmice was Corrado "Junior" Soprano's consigliere and chauffeur. Palmice's wife was named JoJo and he had two sons, Francis Albert and Michael, Jr. Palmice wanted to take care of any opposition to Junior Soprano, including Tony Soprano and Christopher Moltisanti, in order to help Junior become the boss. He worked alongside Chucky Signore, another of Junior's top cronies. Mikey advised Junior to take care of business and not allow anyone to step over him. He killed Brendan Filone on Junior's orders. He tried to start a war between Junior and Tony, resulting in Junior being made boss of the DiMeo family. Mikey was beaten up by Tony because he executed Brendan and called for a mock hit on Chris. When Uncle Junior discovered that three of his capos (Tony, Jimmy Altieri and Larry Boy Barese) along with New York capo Johnny Sack were meeting at Green Grove Retirement Community, he believed he was being conspired against and ordered Mikey to have Tony taken out. Uncle Junior had originally set the order in motion, but it did not work out, since Tony was able to survive the assassination attempt and even kill one of his assailants in self defense. Tony later decided to get rid of both Chucky and Mikey in order to cut Junior's ability to attempt another hit on him. Tony shot Chucky himself and Mikey Palmice was killed after Chris and Paulie chased him down and shot him. Mikey tried to blame all the recent events on Uncle Junior, even Brendan's death. But Chris made it well known. "My friend Brendan, you shot him in his bathtub naked, no chance to run." And with that, Paulie and Chris executed Mikey and left him dead in the woods.
