Michael Mulcahy (Irish politician)

Michael Mulcahy (born 23 June 1960) is an Irish Fianna Fáil party politician who was first elected in 2002 as TD for Dublin South Central in the 29th Dáil and kept his seat in 2007.
A barrister and graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, Mulcahy entered politics as a member of Dublin Corporation, where he served as Lord Mayor from 2001–2002.
He had previously served as a Senator in the 20th Seanad, to which he was nominated by the Taoiseach, Albert Reynolds.
