Michael Alexander Mols (born December 17, 1970 in Amsterdam) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Feyenoord Rotterdam. Mols, a product of Ajax's youth system, has also played for Cambuur Leeuwarden, FC Twente, FC Utrecht, Rangers F.C., again FC Utrecht and ADO Den Haag.

With Rangers he picked up a serious knee injury in an incident with Oliver Kahn in 1999 in a UEFA Champions League match against Bayern Munich, which somewhat halted his career but Mols still managed to earn six caps for the Dutch national team. Prior to his injury, in autumn 1999, Mols was in spectacular form as Rangers made a relentless start to their defence of the SPL title, scoring 9 goals in 9 games - including a 4-goal haul against Andy Goram - and 2 goals against PSV in a 4-1 win in the UEFA Champions League. A year later he made his competitive first team return against Sturm Graz, and marked his return with a goal in a 5-0 win. Mols won 2 Scottish League titles, 3 Scottish Cups and 2 League Cups in his time in Scotland.

His knee injury forced him to severely alter his playing style - Mols now had to play far more conservatively and was incapable of the turning moves and tricks that brought him such success against defenders.

Mols ended his career after the 2006-07 season when he and his team ADO Den Haag relegated from the Eredivisie to the Eerste Divisie. Later he changed his decision and went on trial to Perth Glory, but decided not to sign a contract.[1] In July 2007 it was announced that he has signed a one-year deal with Feyenoord Rotterdam as cover for recently signed Roy Makaay.[2][3]
