Michael McRobbie

Michael McRobbie (born October 11, 1950) is the eighteenth president of Indiana University. He took office on July 1, 2007.

Before his appointment as president, McRobbie served as provost and vice president of academic affairs of the Bloomington campus. Prior to this, he held the position of vice president for research and vice president for information technology.[1]

McRobbie is from Melbourne, Australia. He is a widower who recently married Laurie Burns. He has three children and three stepchildren.
