Michael McIntyre is a Conservative councillor for North Tyneside Council in the United Kingdom. He represents the Whitley Bay ward with Alison Austin and Margaret Marshall.

He stood as the Conservative Party candidate for North Tyneside in the 1997 General Election but lost to the Labour Party candidate, Stephen Byers, by over 25,000 votes.

He also stood as the Conservative Party candidate for Tynemouth in the 2005 General Election but lost to the Labour Party candidate, Alan Campbell, by over 4,000 votes.
