Mike McClearn is a United States former Pro Offensive Tackle, who played professional football for five years, including three years in the NFL.

McClearn attended Valley Central High School, in Montgomery, New York. He always excelled in sports, mostly football and basketball.

After his strengths playing high school football, McClearn received a full scholarship to Temple University which has a Division 1 football program.

McClearn was a territorial draft pick for the Philadelphia Stars in 1983, when they won the 1983 USFL Championship game against the Arizona Wranglers.

McClearn was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 1983 and then finished up his career with the Washington Redskins.

After retiring from the NFL, McClearn decided to continue his involvement in football by coaching an offensive line position for a semi-pro football team in his hometown for 12 years, The Newburgh Raiders.In theEmpire Football League Where he led them to the Divisional championship game 5 times and his team won 4 out of the 5 appearances. McClearn continued into the Empire Football League coaching the offensive line for the Orange County Bull Dogs. Which have made it to the divisional champioships 2 and won 1 of the two years. Currently McClearn is still involved with coaching the offensive line of the New Jersey Revolutions which is a Division 3 Pro Arena football team.
