Michael Maher (born 1930 in Holycross, County Tipperary), is a former Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local Holycross-Ballycahill club and was a member of the Tipperary senior inter-county team from 1956 until 1966. Maher is regarded as one of Tipperary's greatest-ever players.[citation needed]
