Michael Douglas Lohan, Sr. (born April 25, 1960) is best known as the father of actress Lindsay Lohan. After serving a two-and-a-half-year sentence in the Collins Correctional Facility, on various probation violation charges after a DUI arrest, he has emerged as a minister and counselor with the Long Island Teen Challenge rehabilitation program and has worked to save others from the same pitfalls he fell to. The former actor has been involved in various television proposals, including a show about him and his family life with Lindsay, and in 2007, the Michael Lohan Reality Project, produced by Frozen Pictures, which followed his life, work and efforts to reconnect with his daughter and family.

He is currently divorced from Lindsay's mother and manager, Dina Lohan; they have four kids: Lindsay Lohan, Ali Lohan, Michael Douglas Lohan Jr., and Dakota "Cody" Lohan...all of whom work as actors and/or models. He was married to Dina Lohan for 22 years, 1985-2007 until their divorce.

Lohan was named the 2007 Person of The Year by the media website Tabloid Baby.
