Michael Lazerow

Michael Lazerow is the founder of University Wire (owned by Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) and GOLF.com (owned by Time Inc.).

Michael founded University Wire, an Associated Press-like network of more than 700 student-run newspapers, while still in college at Northwestern University. U-Wire was sold to Student Advantage in May 1997. Michael served on Student Advantage's management team through January 1999.

GolfServ, the owner of GOLF.com, was purchased by Time Warner's Time Inc. division in January 2006. After the acquisition, Michael joined Time Inc. as General Manager of GOLF.com and GOLFONLINE.com.

Michael lives in New York City, New York, with his wife, Kass, and two sons.
