Michael Lawrence is an English writer for children and young adults. He is also the co-author of The Poppykettle Papers with Robert Ingpen.
He worked as a graphic designer and photographer before deciding to concentrate on writing. When the Snow Falls was his first book to be published, in 1994. The story was later expanded into A Crack in the Line, the first book of The Aldous Lexicon.
