Michael Lawrence (born Huddersfield, England) is a part-time professional rugby league player with the Huddersfield Giants. It was announced in July 2007 that Michael will become a member of the Giants' Super League squad for the 2008 season[1]. Michael's previous club was the Newsome Panthers.
Michael was selected for the England Academy team in the 2007 season, a reward for consistently good performances throughout the season with the Giants' Academy.[2]
Michael made his Super League debut during the Giants important fixture with the Warrington Wolves on 31 August 2007. He started the game on the interchange bench and replaced Chris Nero for the last five minutes of the game.
