Michael Larabel is the founder and editor-in-chief of Phoronix. He is also a Linux advocate and consultant[1]. Michael Larabel had also received a great deal of attention for starting the ATI Technologies Redblog[2] and issuing The State of ATI Linux[3]. Michael founded Phoronix on June 5, 2004 originally as a personal website but has grown in popularity among Linux users[4]. At Phoronix he is also the lead developer of the Phoronix Test Suite.[5]
