Michael Joseph Ormond is an American director, stage manager, in the NYC area. He completed a 6 month run of the critically acclaimed revival of Room Service, at the Soho Playhouse in 2007(produced by Darren Lee Cole).[1], followed by serving as General Manager for the Wonderland One Act Festival [2]. Although he works as a Stage Manager-he also works as a director with emphasis on the works of Eugene O'Neill. . Other credits include, Gene & Aggie (World Premiere 2003), Beyond The Horizon, Insible Child [3], Anna Christie, ‘Ile, Ah Wilderness, As Is, Mornings At Seven, The Glass Menagerie, Cex and The Sity-The Parody [4], Chosen-The Musical (World Premiere-Suzanne McCoy), The Hobbit and others. His acting credits include, A Little Night Music (Henrik), The Glass Menagerie (Gentlemen Caller), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour) as well as A Chorus Line, Tenderloin, Mousetrap, Kismet, NYSTIâ€,,s A Tale of Cinderella, Silver Skates and Treasure Island. [5]. He is currently involved with writer and composer/lyricist Christopher Massimine's new 2-act musical, "Beyond the Lines of Glory", to be performed 2008 in NYC. [6]
