Michael J. Hurd

Michael J. Hurd is an American psychotherapist, broadcast radio show host, author, public speaker, and commentator. He is an Objectivist. As of 2005, his practice and offices are located in Ocean View, Delaware in the United States.

Hurd received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from The Catholic University of America in 1985. He earned a Master's of Social Work, Clinical, from the University of Maryland in 1988. And he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from the Saybrook Institute in 1991.

[edit] "Solutions--Not Excuses" Radio Show

Dr. Hurd hosted the syndicated weekly call-in radio show "Solutions--Not Excuses" from 1999-2001 for a total of 104 shows. The shows were broadcasted on radio stations KFNX in Phoenix, AZ and WALE in Providence, RI. Later shows were also simulcasted over the radio stations' websites and also Dr. Hurd's website, www.DrHurd.com.
