Michael Henstock (born May 12, 1979 in Randwick, Sydney), is an Australian Kendo player. He trains at UNSW KC. He has also represented NSW multiple times at the Australian National Kendo Championships winning 1st place in the Kyu Division in 2004[1]. He has taken UNSW KC to multiple victories in regional tournaments and international tournaments playing in the position of Taisho.
His steady and straight style of Kendo is an attribute often seen to come out of UNSWKC and is widely known throughout the Kendo Community. In [[2005] he trained in Nittaidai in Japan.
Although he was unsuccessful in his campaign to enter the Australian National Squad to compete at the World Kendo Championships to be held in Taiwan in 2006, he is striving for the next Championships in Brazil
Michael Henstock is also known as Henrickle to his Kendo peers.
