Michael Augustine Healy, nicknamed "Hell Roaring", was an American captain in the United States Revenue Cutter Service (predecessor of the United States Coast Guard) who patrolled Alaskan waters in the late 19th century. USCGC Healy, commissioned in 1999, was named in his honor.

Healy was one of 10 siblings born to an Irish immigrant plantation owner, Michael Morris Healy, and a slave, Mary Eliza Clark. Several of his siblings also achieved success. His brother James Augustine Healy was ordained as the first black bishop in the United States, while another brother, Patrick Francis Healy, became a Jesuit and the president of Georgetown University.
