Michael Stuart "Mike" Harwood (born December 12, 1975) is the former guitarist for the band Ultra. After Ultra split up, he and two others Ultra members formed another group, Rider.

Harwood was born in London and lives in Northwood, London, England. He was called "Speedy" because he used to run for England. Before joining Ultra, he attended City University London and majored in Business studies and Financial Markets. Also he was once a model for a bank in London. He also went to school with two Ultra members, James Hearn was his class mate and Jon O'Mahony a couple years older. James and Mike used to hung out together and played music.

In 1997 he, along with James, Jon and Nick Keynes, formed Ultra and released an album in 1998 named Ultra. As the band finishing their second album in 2001, and singer James Hearn left the band, Ultra was split and the other three members, Harwood, O'Mahony, and Keynes, formed another group named Rider. With Terry Venables, Rider made a 2002 World Cup single named 'England Crazy'. Michael, along with Jon O'mahony and Nick Keynes made a record production and studios named Goldust.
