Michael Guy (born April 6, 1961 in Portland, Oregon) is an American musician who is best known as the lead guitarist of the House of Lords.

[edit] Musical education

Guy studied classical piano and bass a child, and then turned to guitar. After discovering the music of Edward Van Halen, he knew he wanted to be a rock guitarist. He played in various high school bands and would eventually bring his skills to the LA music scene in the late 1980s.

At the age of six, Guy and his family moved to Los Angeles, California. After playing Hollywood Clubs with such bands as Shark Island, Fire and Badd Boyz with Sean McNabb, he worked on a movie soundtrack project with Dio before joining House of Lords. The album Sahara was produced by Andy Johns for Gene Simmons record label. After being featured MTV music videos including the hits "Can't Find My Way Home" and "Remember My Name", directed by Michael Bay, Guy joined former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee in Bourgeois Pigs.

In 1999 Michael formed a technology company specializing in internet research more specifically peer to peer technology. In 2002, Guy was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine for his work with peer-to-peer anti piracy technology. Guy is now the CEO of the Search Engine Optimization Company 1 SEO Experts in Los Angeles and is an ordained minister. Michael is married to wife Kelly and has a son Brandon who has appeared in commercials for Disney.
