Dr. Michael Elmore-Meegan, BPhEccl, MSc, TCD, D.Med (H C)National University of Ireland is the founder and international director of ICROSS, the International Community for Relief Of Starvation and Suffering.

Dr Elmore-Meegan was among the team that pioneered Solar water disinfection, research widely published together with Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. [1] [2] [3]Widely published in international health, Dr Elmore-Meegan speaks internationally on global health. [4] [5]
Known for his decades among the Maasai and Samburu tribes of Kenya, Elmore-Meegan has lived in Africa for over 25 years.
Elmore-Meegan's writings [6] [7] are widely cited including in Parliament.[8] [9] Elmore-Meegan founded the International community for Relief of Starvation and Suffering [10].
A National Television documentary on the work of Michael Elmore-Meegan by RTÉ won the Radharc Award 2006 along with other film awards. [11]
