Michael Dixon is a libertarian political activist and was the national chair of the United States Libertarian Party from 2004 to 2006.

A management consultant, Dixon was elected to the position of national chair on the first ballot by delegates to the 2004 Libertarian National Convention in Atlanta. Dixon had previously served as a member of the Libertarian National Committee (as an at-large member and as a regional representative) since 1998, and as chair of the Illinois Libertarian Party from 1993 to 1994.

Dixon is 44 and currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina; with his wife and son.
