Michael Dietz (born February 10, 1971) is an American actor and producer who is best known for the role of Dr. Mark MacClaine on CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful and Joe Scanlon on "Port Charles".

Prior to joing the cast of B&B in 2002, Dietz had guest stints on prime time shows Wasteland, Charmed, Beverly Hills 90210, The Drew Carey Show and Baywatch, and starring roles as Alan-Michael on Guiding Light as well as "House" and "CSI".

On April 6, 2002, Dietz married actress Paige Rowland. The two are now the proud parents of Madison Michaela Dietz.

In 2005, Michael and Richard Friedman formed Lucky Butterfly Productions[1]—a film and television company.

Michael is also the co-creator of the board game Bubblebrain that has won over eight awards including Toy Of The Year.
