Michael Brant DeMaria [1] was born April 23, 1962 in Norwalk Connecticut to Francesco DeMaria a chemical engineer and Jacqueline Campbell DeMaria a real estate broker. He is a clinical psychologist, author, musician and keynote speaker in the area of personal growth. He is the author of Horns and Halos: Towards the Blessings of Darkness [2], Ever Flowing On: On being and becoming oneself [3] and the CD’s The River [4] and Ocean [5]. His publications have focused primarily on the relationship between creativity and the healing process. [6], [7]; [8]; [9]
After attending New College of Florida he graduated with a B.A. in philosophy and a B.A. in psychology from the University of West Florida in 1982. He then attended Duquesne University where he graduated with his M.A. in Psychology in 1983 and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1987. He is married to Attorney Kathleen Kies DeMaria and has one daughter Danielle Christina DeMaria. [10]
