Michael Franklin Corbin (April 29, 1955 - March 18, 2008) was an investigative journalist, researcher, and radio talk show host who was born and died in Denver, Colorado. Corbin was the director of the ParaNet BBS, taking over the internationally respected bulletin board from researcher Jim Speiser in 1988.
Corbin not only brought ParaNet to the Internet, but also branched out in organizing MICAP (Multi-national Investigations Cooperative on Aerial Phenomena), publishing CONTINUUM, a quarterly magazine that explored the paranormal, UFO culture, and conspiracy theory, and hosting the popular nationally syndicated talk show The Paranet Continuum, which aired every Sunday night from 1994 to 1999, and intermittently to 2002.
From 2002 until his untimely death, Corbin hosted the syndicated talk show A Closer Look. Through ACL, Corbin examined subjects ranging from Satanic cults, mind control, child prostitution and abduction, educational reform, illegal immigration, constitutional rights, and the events surrounding 9/11.
