Specialist Michael Conner Humphreys (born 1985) is an American soldier and former child actor best known for playing the role of Forrest Gump as a boy in the 1994 Oscar-winning drama film, Forrest Gump. He also played a small role in the Hallmark movie A Painted House.
He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. He joined the U.S. Army in 2005 and is currently an infantryman assigned to a tank battalion. After a year deployed to Iraq in its dangerous Anbar Province, Humphreys was transferred to Fort Riley, Kansas. He will leave the Army when his enlistment ends on June 4, 2008, and has already landed a part in an upcoming World War II film, Pathfinders.[1]
