Michael Cassell is a boxing writer and a member of the Boxing Writers Association of America. He is also senior editor of the Philadelphia Boxing Report, and formally (??formerly??) the host of the ESPN radio show of the same name (??which??). He is known for his straight forward street journalism. His family has a rich history in the boxing tradition, with professional fighters in Brooklyn in the 1930s. He has contributed to many boxing websites, Philadelphia newspapers, and sports magazines and is FOX29.COM's exclusive boxing writer. In June 2007, Mike Cassell with Fighting City Productions, struck a deal with Comcast Sports Net nationally, to broadcast fights from The Blue Horizon as well as venues in Philadelphia and South Jersey.
