Michael Byster

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mental calculator Mike Byster is an American commodities trader who spends time giving free demonstrations of what he calls "Mathodical Thinking" at grade schools and high schools throughout the Chicago area.[1]

After only a short period of teaching, his students can quickly square three-digit numbers.[2] He voluntarily teaches elementary school children how to do calculations with multi-digit numbers without the use of paper and pencil and with great speed. He also teaches students how to improve memory skills, organize information, and use shortcuts and patterns.

Mike is also the creator of the Brainetics program, which is an educational program that teaches his techniques to anyone who can afford its astounding price tag.
