Michael Brauer

Michael Brauer is a New York-based mixer whose credits encompass a wide range of genres, and include The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, John Mayer, Ash, My Morning Jacket, Ben Folds, Dream Theater, The New Radicals, Change, Fountains of Wayne, David Poe, Wilco and Ron Sexsmith.

Michael has established himself as an A-List mixer with a recent string of highly successful albums. He has just received a Grammy for "Best Male Pop Vocal and Performance" for his work on John Mayer's Continuum, and also recently won a Grammy for "Best Alternative Album" for Coldplay's Parachutes. Michael mixed James Morrison’s debut album Undiscovered for Polydor which debuted at #1 in the UK and has since gone platinum in the UK, and The Kooks’ debut album Inside In / Inside Out which has also been certified triple platinum in the UK. Recent albums Michael mixed include KT Tunstall's Drastic Fantastic, Travis's Boy With No Name, as well as upcoming records for The Midway State and Absent Star. He has recently mixed singles for John Mayer, The Enemy (#1 UK single chart), Paulo Nutini, Mr. Hudson & The Library, Evans Blue, and a surround sound mix for the My Morning Jacket Live at the Fillmore DVD.
