Michael Baxandall

Michael Baxandall (b. 1933) is a prominent British-born art historian and a professor emeritus of Art History at University of California, Berkeley. He has taught previously at the Warburg Institute, University of London, and worked as a curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
