Michael Baisden (born June 26, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American author, motivational speaker, host of the TV One talk show Baisden After Dark[1], and host of his own nationally-syndicated radio show. He is also known for his astute observations about today's society, such as "children having sex when they reach puberty" and "African-Americans having sex with white people" and "brothas cheatin' on sistas". Al Sharpton has called him "either one of the greatest social commentators of our time, or a complete ass."

He was married from 1993-1998 and has a teenage daughter. He was in the US Air Force and drove trains for Chicago Transit Authority.

Baisden's first book, Never Satisfied: How and Why Men Cheat, was released under a Vanity Press label. In 2001, he made a series of promotional appearances on daytime talk shows. He was also host of his own short-lived syndicated talk show, Talk or Walk,[2] in 2001.
It is a significant point to expand upon within the article "Michael Baisden", that both Michael Baisden's other books The Maintenance Man and Men Cry in the Dark were adapted into successful stage plays that toured the country in 2001 and 2002.
