Michael A. Jackson (born March 29, 1964) is the current Sheriff of Prince George's County, Maryland. Jackson, a Democrat, is in his second term, having served as Sheriff since 2002.

From 1982 to 1985, he served in the United States Marine Corps reserves.
In 1986, he received his B.S. in electronic engineering technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology.^[1]
Jackson was the Fraternal Order of Police 112/DSA union president prior to his election as Sheriff. As of 2007, Jackson is also the President of the Maryland Sheriff's Association.^[2]
Jackson is married, and has one child.^[1]
