Micah Knorr (born January 9, 1975 in Orange, California) is an American football punter in the National Football League. He played college football at Utah State University and was signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2000. Knorr most recently played with Denver Broncos, but was waived by the team before the start of regular season on September 2, 2006. He spent 2005 out of football after being released by both the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers. Knorr was the punter for the Dallas Cowboys from 2000 through the middle of the 2002 season. He then signed as free agent with the Broncos on October 30, 2002 and played with the team until he was waived on December 9, 2004.

Knorr attended Orange High School in Orange, California, and was a two-time All-CIF selection. He finished his prep career with 81 points, and as a senior, averaged 42 yards per punt.

Knorr managed a sports retail store form 1997-98. From 1998-99, he worked at a gym and a day spa and was the kicking coach at Irvine High School in Irvine, California.

2000: Dallas Cowboys:Knorr handled the punting and kickoff duties. He averaged 42.8 yards per punt and placed 18 of 57 kickoff attempts in the endzone. He was also effective in coverage after punting and made two assisted tackles.

2001: Dallas Cowboys:Knorr handled the punting and the kickoff duties and averaged 40.2 yards per punt. His best performances were when he punted 5 times for 215 yards (43.0 yards per punt average) on October 28th against Arizona, and on November 22nd against Denver, when he punted 8 times for 364 yards(45.5 yards per punt avg.).

2002: Dallas Cowboys/Denver Broncos:Knorr averaged 39.9 yards during a season in which he split time for the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos. He also handled kickoffs and tied for fifth in the AFC in touchbacks by making 7 touchbacks.

2003: Denver Broncos:Knorr averaged 43.2 yards per punt and helped lead his team to the AFC Wild Card Game. His best performances were on September 7th against Cincinnati when he punted 5 times for 235 yards (47.0 yards per punt avg.) and on December 28th against Green Bay. In the game against Green Bay, he punted seven times for 297 yards (43.2 yards per punt avg.). During the course of the season, he added two special teams tackles.
