Category:Micronations
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
These are articles about past and present micronations, that is, small groups of people who attempt to resemble sovereign states, but fail to qualify as such according to at least the constitutive theory of statehood. Some of them may, depending on definitions, possess some of the features of sovereign states according to other theories; generally speaking they are not recognized in international law as having any legitimacy to their claims.
Micronations should not be confused with microstates, which are recognised, albeit small, states.
