[edit] Infoboxes for Italian communes
Hi! Thanks for adding the infobox to Mirabello Sannitico. A note: if you are in difficulty with fields, simply copy and paste from other articles which already have it (i.e., take the infobox from Termoli and modify the correct data). Ciao! user:Attilios
[edit] Possibly unfree Image:MS-townview-sw-tn.jpg
An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:MS-townview-sw-tn.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. ----TheDJ (talk • contribs) 15:45, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- I just had a concern that you did not make this photo yourself because the description made it appear as if you had downloaded it from a website. Since you responded in such a proper way and since I cannot prove anything I will retract the claim and the image can stay. Now for some of your other questions:
- You do not need to upload thumbnails. Wikipedia has software that automatically creates thumbnails if needed. Therefore, i will mark your uploaded thumbnail as a duplicate of the large image.
- You can sign your message by typing ~~~~ (that are 4 tilde characters) or by pressing the signature icon in the toolbar when you are editing. Then after you save the page, the software will automatically add your name. See also this information page.
- Now for images. There are several basic things i will tell you. will insert a fullsize image in the article. This is often too large, usually we use thumbs. these work like this (or left, but right is preferred). Clicking an image in wikipedia will always take you to the pictures own page (in your case it would be here. In case of thumbnails, you should also add a "caption" or "subscript": . For a full explanation read this help page.
- In your case i think a gallery is more what you are looking for. This works a little different from normal image inclusion. You can ready about galleries on this help page. In this specific case I made the changes to the Mirabello Sannitico article for you. I made these changes As you can see, I also removed some whitespace, and moved it above "External links" (see also, external links, references, notes, categories always go at the bottom of the article.)
I hope i have been able to help you, but if you have any other questions, you are welcome to ask them. --TheDJ (talk • contribs) 20:41, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
