Spring Break (CSI: Miami episode)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spring Break is the 21st episode of the first season of CSI: Miami. It originally aired April 28, 2003.

Two young men are on Spring Break, recovering on the beach from the previous night's events. They find the body of a young female--dead, her neck broken. This death appears to be intentional, and leads Horatio and Tripp to someone who's filming the Spring Break events. Their suspect proves to be rather uncooperative. Speedle sifts the scene for further evidence, which yields a key piece of evidence.

Calleigh and Eric have a different situation: a male was found at the bottom of the pool. While on her way to the apartment where the victim had been staying, a photographer pesters her for a "Girls Gone Wild" type of shot. He promptly leaves when she shows him her badge and gun. Eric attracts much attention from the young ladies when he dives into the pool for the body. Calleigh tells Eric later that the ladies were asking if he had a younger brother.

The second death appears to have been accidental, relating to a drug overdose. The victim's roommates don't appear all that cooperative, either: Calleigh must shut off their video game to get their attention. A search of their room reveals evidence of drug use, which results in further questioning.
