Mian Channu is a city in Punjab province, Pakistan. It became tehsil of Khanewal district in 1985. It has approximately 65,000 residents. Located on G.T road (250 km West of Lahore and 1050 km East of Karachi) and KLP (Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar) railway line, the city is one of the major contributor to agricultural production. Cotton, wheat and mango are the major agricultural products. The city enjoys the repute of manufacturing the best agricultural machinary in the country, first introduced by Ghazi Industries. There are many industrial groups working in this city, Ghazi's, Roomi, Kermawala's & Jamal Industries are to name but a few. Mian Channun has some of the highest value property of Pakistan. Mian Channu also house some fantastic elementary and secondary school's, Mian Channu public school being the most reputable of all. But govt.model high school has also been the noteable school of the whole board and district.it showed a history conducting result in the year2006.the boards history has very few examples comparing this result.i m also in the top students haroon dilshad my name.the teacher"s name was tariq saleem malana who has also got the award.There is also a shrine of " BABA MIAN CHANNUN ".
