Miami Airport Station is a Tri-Rail station located just east of the Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida. It services passengers travelling to and from the Miami International Airport.
The station is situated at Northwest 37th Avenue and 21st Street. It opened April 27, 1998 as a successor for the original Miami Airport Station, which is now Hialeah Market Station, one mile to the north. It is currently the southern terminus of the Tri-Rail system (a southern exension toward Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport, 18 miles to the southwest, has been proposed). Miami Airport station is currently undergoing its second relocation, where it will be a part of the Miami Central Station in the under-construction Miami Intermodal Center.
