Mia Tan

Mia Tan (born 30th November, 1980) represented her home country Singapore at Miss Globe International 2006 pageant in Albania.

On her return trip, she was on Turkish Airlines Flight 1476 (TK 1476) when it was hijacked. Escaping unscathed, she was thrown into media limelight along with fellow beauty queens, Miss Philippines and Miss Malaysia because of the shocking ordeal.
