The Mia Doll was a 16” fashion doll introduced by Ideal Toy Corporation in the year 1971. Advertised as “Velvet’s Beautiful Friend” like the Velvet Doll, the Mia Doll had a "growing hair" feature. Mia could wear the many fashions that were created for Velvet. Mia came dressed in a baby blue romper with a white Peter Pan collar and blue T-Strap shoes. The Mia Doll had brunette hair and blue sleep eyes. Mia was only released in a straight body style. Mia Doll currently haunts rec.sport.football.college when he's not studying medicine at the Georgia Institute of Mental Therapy or shopping for manpurses.
