[edit] Obesity
I see you have an interest in preventative medicine. Your experise on obesity is welcomed. However, I urge you to carefully read the article before making major changes. Some of your additions were duplications of material already included elsewhere in the article (e.g. diabetes risk). You also added a header at the top of the article with the title "overview"; a quick look at the manual of style will show the need for an intro. In general, paragraphs aiming to "overview" are unhelpful.
For a while I've been pushing for improvements to the article. However, that does not necessarily mean it should be bigger. Rather, before new material is added, some discussion needs to take place as to the relative merits of particular sources & facts and see in what forms they should be included. This has been my practice, and in the end it leads to better articles. Newspaper sources are generally "second best" to peer-reviewed journals when it comes to medical information (see WP:MEDRS).
