I am here in support of the Wikipedia Project and the philosophies that underlie it.

I have a passion for the truth, the bare truth and nothing but, squarely, the truth.

I have a commitment to contribute to human knowledge and endeavours; and to do so with an open mind.

I am sad to note that many pages on Wikipedia about my country, Zimbabwe, and its history are replete with inaccuracies, incorrect interpretations, misinformation, etc. some of which betray biases including those based on racism and supremacism. I will endeavour to contribute towards the elimination of these as much as I can.

Having said this, I must also submit that there are many informative articles and excellently written articles about my country. Thanks to contributors throughout the world and to Wikipedia moderators whom I regard with deep respect.

I am not a subscriber to racism. I also do not subscribe to black or white supremacism or any form of supremacism. I subscribe to diversity in humans, animals and plants.

I have a passion for computing and the amazing spirit and philosophies that drive the open source software and community.

I am a Zimbabwean. My country is currently in a crisis. The crisis is multi-faceted complex and complicated by both historical legacies and a multiplicity of modern-day interests and forces. My position is best described as being caught in a whirl-wind of these legacies, interests and forces. However, I have a sober view of all the issues at play.
