[edit] History
Makati Gospel Learning Center (MGLC) and New Life Foundation Learning Center (NLFLC) were both established in 1991, with the vision to share the gospel of Christ's love for all through quality Christian education. The school's foundation day is celebrated every July 3.
Eventually the people involved in both schools felt that it was God's leading that the two schools come together to become one school. And so with the merger, the school was previously named MGC New Life Foundational Learning Center.[1]
In 2001, MGC New Life celebrated its 10th year anniversary, and the school presented the musical play, God Uses Kids.
Now, after more than fourteen years of existence (and now on its sixteenth year), MGC New Life Christian Academy, has been known to stand true to its commitment of spreading God's word and training up children to become Godly leaders in the 21st century. In 2007, MGC New Life's fourth year high school students topped the Taguig City chapter of the National Career Assessment Examination.
In 2008, MGC New Life celebrated its 15th year with the musical play, The Greatest Stories Ever Told at the AFP Theater.

[edit] MGCNLCA in the News
In 2004, a student named Keeshia Rose D. Wee Eng secured what most reporters at the time would have given up an arm and a leg for. She was granted by the Sandiganbayan a chance to interview then detained former President Joseph Estrada as a school assignment. She was accompanied by her mother Sheila, sister Roshelle, cousin Marc Henrich Go and teacher Mary Ann Papey.[3]
As the days before the verdict passed by, Wee Eng was asked what she would like to say to the former President regarding the decision to be handed, and she said that Estrada should not "harbor bitterness; instead, entrust everything to the Lord".[4]
