MG 3
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The MG 3 is a car which will be sold under the MG model range owned by Nanjing Automobile Group. It is based on the Rover Streetwise which ceased production in April 2005 on the bankruptcy of predecessor organisation MG Rover, although it is effectively the successor of the MG ZR.
According to Chinese Newspapers, NAC has not confirmed whether MG 3 production will take place at Longbridge in England or at one of Nanjing's Chinese factories. It will be similar in size to the likes of the Ford Fiesta and Peugeot 207. [[1]]
Production is set to begin in 2008.
