Big Boss, as depicted in the Japanese user's manual for the original Metal Gear. The image has been flipped from its original source to fix an artist error.

This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit.

This image is used in the article: Big Boss (Metal Gear)‎.
The image from the Japanese user manual is used to represent a well know character of the game. Namely Big Boss, a central figure in the Metal Gear series appearing numerous times in various games.
The image is being used in an informative way and should not detract from the game. Minimal size and quality. Improves article.
The image does not limit Konami's ability to sell the game.
It is not replaceable with an uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image of comparable educational value.
