[edit] Removal of 'peacock word' notice on Mauritius page

Hi Mfolozi,

I just wanted to stop by and ask about your recent edit to the Mauritius page in which you removed a peacock word template I had added a while back, explaining my reasons for doing so on the talk page for the article. You didn't give any reason for removing the template either in your edit summary or on the talk page, and it seems to me that the concerns I raised have yet to be addressed (please refer to WP:Avoid peacock terms if you're unfamiliar with the concept).

So if you would be so kind as to add your comments either here, on the article talk page, or on my user talk page, we can move the discussion forward and come to a resolution. Thanks! --jonny-mt 02:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks for replacing the template. And don't worry about missing my comment on the talk page; when I went to double-check that I had indeed commented, I noticed that I put my note at the top of the page rather than at the bottom where it belongs. So ten demerits to me :) --jonny-mt 05:20, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
