Mezzanego is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 35 km east of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,411 and an area of 28.8 km².[1]

The municipality of Mezzanego contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Borgonovo Ligure, Campovecchio, Case Zatta, Corerallo, Isola di Borgonovo, Mezzanego alto, Passo del Bocco, Pontegiacomo, Porciletto, Prati, San Siro Foce, Semovigo, and Vignolo.

Mezzanego borders the following municipalities: Borzonasca, Carasco, Ne, San Colombano Certénoli, Tornolo.
